Teen Arrested Over Fatal Stabbing in North London
A 15-year-old boy was snapped up on Friday, 19 February, on suspicion of murder. The same teen was also arrested for robbery linked to a different crime.
Fatal Incident on Jarrow Road
Police raced to Jarrow Road, N17, at 7.21pm on Wednesday, 17 February, after reports of a man found unresponsive inside a car. Emergency crews, including London’s Air Ambulance, attended the scene.
Gabriel Bringye, 37, a local resident, was discovered with a stab wound. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics, he was declared dead at 8pm on the spot.
Ongoing Murder Investigation
Gabriel’s family has been informed and is receiving police support. A post-mortem is scheduled for Friday, 19 February, at Haringey Mortuary.
The Specialist Crime Command homicide detectives are leading the probe. They urge anyone who was near Jarrow Road at the time to come forward.
