Two Teens Arrested After Oxford Stabbing Horror

Chaos hit Blackbird Leys, Oxford, this afternoon (14/6) when a 14-year-old boy was stabbed near Coltsfoot Square. Police swiftly arrested two local 16-year-olds on suspicion of attempted murder.

Boy in Serious But Stable Condition

Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 4 p.m. following reports of the stabbing. The victim was quickly hospitalised and remains in serious but stable condition.

Police Lockdown and Rapid Arrests

Officers immediately set up scene-watches and boosted patrols in the area. Superintendent Bruce Riddell praised the swift action. He said, “This incident has resulted in my officers making very quick arrests.”

Community on Edge, Police Seek Witnesses

The Local Policing Area Commander urged anyone who saw what happened to call 101 quoting incident 1477 (14/6). He added, “I understand that this incident has caused concern in the local community, but I would like to assure the public that we have made arrests and are conducting thorough investigations.”
