Two Men Charged with Brutal Murder of 48-Year-Old Man in HA5
Arrests Made in Cricklewood and East London
Andrej Kolecki, 60, from Chaplin Road, Cricklewood, was arrested on Sunday, 26 February. He was charged with murder the very next day.
Jakub Molga, also known as Leon Pedrycz, 25, of Romford Road, East London, E7, was charged with murder on Saturday, 27 February. Both men are set to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 1 March.
Fatal Attack in Howards Close
Police were called at 10.34pm on Monday, 20 February after the London Ambulance Service reported an injured man at an address in Howards Close, HA5.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, 48-year-old victim Rafal was pronounced dead there and then.
Cause of Death Revealed
A post-mortem examination confirmed Rafal died from multiple blunt-force injuries. The victim’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
