Two Seriously Hurt in Shocking Purton Crash
Two people are fighting for their lives after a nasty smash between a Volkswagen Phaeton and a Honda Jazz in Purton yesterday afternoon.
Air Ambulance Rushes Victims to Hospital
The collision happened just before 3pm on Pavenhill, causing severe damage to both vehicles. Emergency crews swooped in immediately. The Volkswagen driver, a local man, was airlifted to 123 Hospital for urgent treatment.
The Honda’s driver, a man in his 40s also from Purton, suffered multiple serious injuries and was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Investigators are on the lookout for anyone who saw what happened before the crash. They are especially keen to get hold of any dashcam footage from the area to help piece together the events.
