A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a crash with a car on the A205 South Circular at Dulwich Common.

Crash Shuts Down Busy South Circular

The Metropolitan Police were called to the scene at 4:35pm on January 16 following reports of the collision. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the injured rider at the scene before taking him to hospital.

A police spokesperson confirmed the motorcyclist’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Road Closed, Traffic Chaos

The crash forced the closure of the South Circular between Allison Grove and College Road, bringing traffic and bus routes to a standstill across the area. Fortunately, the road has now reopened.

Details and Investigation Still Unclear

The smash reportedly happened at a junction along the main road. Authorities have yet to reveal the full circumstances or confirm if an investigation is underway.
