The proactive patrols were part of a national Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action, which wrapped up on Sunday 29 January 2023. Nottinghamshire Police used the week to showcase their daily efforts protecting communities and supporting local businesses.

“Our officers work extremely hard every day not only to keep their communities safe, but also to positively engage with and support our residents and businesses,” said Stu Howe, neighbourhood policing sergeant for Gedling north.
