Wiltshire Police are seeking witnesses following a crash on the A3102 Swindon Road in Royal Wootton Bassett that left a two-year-old child injured. The collision occurred shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, 18 February, involving a blue Volkswagen Golf and a silver Volvo V40.

The toddler was taken to hospital with injuries that are thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing. A woman in her 20s who was driving one of the vehicles and her male passenger also sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the hospital.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward. Wiltshire Police want to gather information to understand the circumstances that led to the collision.

Witnesses are asked to contact Wiltshire Police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 54250020704. Reports can also be submitted via the Wiltshire Police website. The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to establish the full details of the incident.
