A 23-year-old man is currently in hospital recovering after being stabbed outside Ladbroke Grove Tube Station at around 1:30am on August 7.
Police responded quickly to reports of the attack and conducted a thorough search of the area. The victim made his own way to hospital, where medical staff confirmed that his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Two men in their 30s have been arrested in connection with the stabbing as investigations continue.
Following the incident, Ladbroke Grove Tube Station was temporarily closed for safety reasons. Transport for London confirmed the station reopened at about 6:30am once the situation was under control.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 1:30 am on Monday, 7 August to reports of a man stabbed on Ladbroke Grove, W10. Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. A 23-year-old man subsequently self-presented at the hospital with a stab injury which is not believed to be life-threatening. Two men, aged in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Enquiries continue.”
The Metropolitan Police have secured a wide crime scene and are probing the full circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
