Tragic Crash on Newton Lane: Car Driver Dies
A deadly collision between a car and a lorry on Newton Lane, Newton, has left one man dead and another injured.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service received reports of the crash at 1.19pm. They dispatched an ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a crew from East Midlands Ambulance Service to the scene.
One Dead, One Injured
A West Midlands spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival, we found two patients from the car and lorry.
“The first man, who was the driver of the car, was in a critical condition. Unfortunately, it immediately became clear that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The driver of the lorry was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained minor injuries. He received treatment at the scene before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment.”

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash while emergency crews continue to respond. Newton Lane remains a spot of concern after this fatal incident.
