The Acton community is mourning the tragic murder of 23-year-old aspiring rapper Fernando Johnson, also known as Fdot. Fernando was found critically injured on Rosebank Way at 2.15 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, just yards from his own front door.

According to Fernando’s family, he was ambushed by two men as he exited his car in the early hours of the morning. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene near the busy A40 dual carriageway, but despite their efforts, Fernando sadly died at the location. The road remains closed as police continue to search the area.

A cousin described Fernando as “a lovely person who will be sadly missed,” adding, “As far as we know, this isn’t gang-related.”

Police have launched a full murder investigation into the incident. The attackers remain at large, and a post-mortem examination will determine whether Fernando was shot or stabbed.
