Police in Havant have arrested two individuals after a violent disorder broke out in Leigh Park on Sunday, 8 July. The incidents involved dangerous driving and cycling, causing significant concern among local residents.

Officers were called to reports of reckless drivers and cyclists navigating the streets dangerously. Some were seen driving on the wrong side of the road and deliberately blocking traffic in the Leigh Park area, raising public safety fears.

A 22-year-old man from Havant was arrested on charges of violent disorder and grievous bodily harm. Additionally, a 17-year-old boy from Havant faces the same charges, along with assaulting a police officer. Both suspects have been released but remain under investigation.

Another individual, a 19-year-old man, was also arrested in connection with the events but was later released with no further action taken.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the disorder to come forward. Authorities stated, “Your information could be crucial.” Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference number 44180256637.
