A 21-year-old man from Hayling Island has been arrested after a robbery incident at a well-known park in Liss.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was at Newmans Collard Recreational Ground shortly before 8pm on 11 April when an unknown man approached him, asking for a lighter. The suspect then snatched the boy’s bag and assaulted him, causing minor injuries.
The suspect remains in police custody as officers continue their investigation and seek further information.
