Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a fatal collision on the M3 northbound near Bagshot.
At just after 5am on Sunday, 22 February, a pedestrian in his 20s was struck by a car between junctions 4 and 3. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have informed his grieving family.
Officers closed the northbound carriageway for several hours while they investigated the crash. The road has since reopened, but no arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a pedestrian near the Maultway motorway entrance to come forward. They are particularly interested in any CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that could help establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
