Hit-and-Run Horror in South Wonston Leaves Man Seriously Injured
Police are hunting a driver after a pedestrian was left seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash in South Wonston.
Man Left with Broken Leg and Wrist
The shocking collision happened around 11pm last night (Sunday, 23 June) on Christmas Hill, opposite Connaught Road. A vehicle, believed to be heading northbound, struck a 27-year-old man before speeding off without stopping.
The victim suffered a broken leg and wrist and is now recovering after the brutal impact.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of 1 Hill at the time of the collision to make contact with us. Did you witness the collision? Did you see any vehicles making off from the scene?” said PC Stephen Eadsforth.
