Digger Smash! Thieves Ram ATM in Hurstpierpoint Heist
At 3.45am on Saturday (5 September), a stolen digger was driven straight into the Nationwide Building Society on Hurstpierpoint High Street. Thieves ripped the ATM from the wall and loaded it into a waiting white Luton van.
The van then sped off westwards, leaving chaos in its wake.
Gang of Men Behind Bold Morning Raid
Police believe several men were involved in the brazen smash-and-grab. The exact amount of cash stolen remains unclear.
