Wiltshire Police are currently investigating a racially motivated assault on a cyclist in Amesbury and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The incident took place between 8:55pm and 9:05pm on July 9, 2024, on Boscombe Road, near the double mini roundabout off Solstice Park. According to reports, a car pulled up close to the cyclist before the occupants threw objects and shouted racist insults.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has any relevant information to contact them immediately. Witnesses can reach out to Wiltshire Police via their website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 54240080602.
