A tragic incident occurred on February 2, just before 6.45pm, on Wellington Street, Woolwich, where a teenage girl fell from a height.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews arrived promptly at the scene to find the girl seriously injured. Despite the paramedics’ urgent efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that officers responded to a call at 6.43pm regarding a person who had fallen from a height. The spokesperson described the death as unexpected but stated there were no initial signs of suspicious circumstances.

“Her relatives are aware,” the spokesperson added. “Officers are still on the scene conducting additional investigations.”
