Teen Sex Attack Shocks Nuthurst Park
A teenage girl was brutally assaulted in Nuthurst Park, New Moston, in the early hours of Friday, 28 November 2025. Greater Manchester Police are on the hunt for the attacker and appealing for witnesses.
Attack Near Tram Stop Sparks Alarm
The victim met the suspect at Newton Heath and Moston tram stop at around 1am. They walked together to Nuthurst Park, where the horrific assault took place.

Police believe the attacker is from Failsworth and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The local community has been warned to stay alert.
“We understand this incident is deeply worrying for the local community. The protection of women and girls is a top priority for GMP,” said PC Suliat Gboshe of Manchester’s City division.
