On Monday, 26 December 2022, at around 5pm, a man in his 40s was viciously attacked in a communal garden on Calder Crescent, Whitefield. The assault left him seriously injured and struggling to remember the events of the attack.

The victim was assaulted in the garden area of the property at approximately 17:00 GMT. As a result of the brutal attack, he suffered two fractured eye sockets and a broken nose.

Authorities have revealed that the victim has no memory of the incident, highlighting the severity of the assault.

Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to contact Bury CID immediately. Witnesses can call 0161 856 8213 or 0161 856 8121, quoting log 1439 of 30/12/2022.
