Man Charged Over Stabbing in Royal Wootton Bassett

A 21-year-old man has been charged after a stabbing incident in Royal Wootton Bassett earlier this week.

Attack in Rylands Way

The assault happened shortly after midday on September 10 in Rylands Way. Joseph Bridgeman, from Chestnut Avenue, Tidworth, faces charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Custody and Court Appearance

Bridgeman has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today (September 12).

A second man arrested in connection with the stabbing has been released on bail pending further investigations.
