Knife attack horror in Ladywood: Teen guilty of manslaughter
Zechariah Nelson was today found guilty of manslaughter after 17-year-old Akeem Bailey suffered a fatal knife wound to the neck in Ladywood.
Fatal stabbing shocks local community
The tragic attack happened last October, leaving Akeem dead and his family devastated.
Second victim wounded but survives
Nelson also stabbed another teenager near Springfield Street on 30 October last year. Luckily, the second victim’s injuries were not serious.
Justice on the way
The 18-year-old, currently of no fixed address, was found guilty of both manslaughter and wounding. He will face sentencing in the coming weeks.
