Teen Passenger Killed in Fiery Ferrari Smash

A man behind the wheel of a £1.2 million Ferrari F50 has denied causing the death of his 13-year-old passenger through careless driving. The tragic crash happened on August 22 on a rural farm road at North Warnborough, Hampshire.

Driver Enters Not Guilty Plea

Matthew Cobden, 38, from Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, appeared at Winchester Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty. The court heard that Alexander Worth, from Kings Worthy, sadly died when the Ferrari slammed into fencing on an access road between Newlyns and Lodge Farms.

Crash Left Driver Seriously Injured

No other vehicles were involved in the single-car smash. Cobden sustained serious injuries but survived the crash. The judge confirmed that the trial will start on January 19.
