Five Charged Over Brutal Brent Attempted Murder

Five males have been charged with the attempted murder of a 22-year-old man in Brent. Omari Lindsey, Mickell Barnett, Dante Young-Brown, and a 17-year-old from Brent were all charged on Thursday, 13 June.

Court Appearances and Custody

The four appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the next day and were remanded in custody. All five charged will next face the Old Bailey on Friday, 12 July.

Another 17-year-old male was arrested on Friday, 14 June, charged the following day, and remanded after appearing at court on Monday, 17 June.

Investigation Ongoing, Sixth Arrest Made

A sixth suspect, aged 18, was arrested on Sunday, 16 June and remains in police custody. The attack happened just before 3.30pm on Tuesday, 11 June at Chapel Close, near the junction with Chancery Crescent, NW10.

Police investigations and enquiries are ongoing as detectives work to piece together what happened.
