Man Charged After Brutal Assault Leaves Victim Fighting For Life
Darren Fell Held Over Serious Attack
Darren John Fell, 39, from Hewitt Court, New Park Court, was charged yesterday with grievous bodily harm with intent at Salisbury Magistrates Court. The charge relates to a savage assault that left a local man critically injured on Saturday night.
Victim Remains In Critical Condition
The victim, a man in his forties, is still fighting for his life at Great Western Hospital in Swindon following the attack believed to have happened near Hewitt Court and New Park Street.
Police Urge Witnesses To Speak Up
Fell has been remanded in custody and is due back in Salisbury Crown Court on August 5.
