Man Charged After Cop Stabbed in London Knife Attack
40-Year-Old Arrested Following Police Stabbing
Detectives have charged Mohim Hussain, 40, from Ashmore Road, W9, after a police officer was stabbed in the arm during an incident on Tuesday, 28 July.
Serious Charges Laid Against Suspect
Hussain faces charges including Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife blade or sharp object in a public place. The stabbing took place on Ashmore Road, where the officer was injured.
Officer Stable After Hospital Release
The injured officer was treated at hospital and has since been discharged. Doctors confirmed the wounds were non-life-threatening.
Next Court Date Set for Today
Mohim Hussain is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 20 July.
