Slough Man Locked Up for Child Sex Abuse
Thomas Murphy, 63, from George Green, Slough, has been sentenced to two years and six months behind bars. He pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault against a child under 13.
Offences Spanning Two Years
The abuse happened between May 2018 and August 2020 in Eastleigh. Murphy’s crimes targeted a single child during this horrifying period. Yesterday, 19 May, Southampton Crown Court handed down the jail term.
Sex Offenders’ Register and 10-Year Prevention Order
Besides his prison sentence, Murphy is now on the Sex Offenders’ Register and faces a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Authorities are clear: justice for child victims is a top priority.
Police Praise Victim’s Courage, Urge Others to Speak Up
