Paedophile James Green Jailed for Six Years in Clacton-on-Sea

James Green, 45, from Clacton-on-Sea, will spend six years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple child exploitation offences. The judge at Chelmsford Crown Court handed down the sentence on Wednesday, June 12.

Horrific Crimes Exposed

Green was charged with making and distributing indecent images of children, possessing extreme pornographic material, and repeatedly breaching his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

Essex Police Online Investigation Cracks Case

The Essex Police Online Investigation Team (POLIT) launched an investigation after receiving tips about Green’s illegal online behaviour. A search of his home in April uncovered evidence of his efforts to access banned content, along with SHPO violations. He was promptly arrested.

Detective Praises Swift Justice

Initially uncooperative, Green eventually admitted guilt as the evidence stacked up. Detective Constable Matthew Wright from POLIT said:

“This case highlights the importance of acting fast to protect vulnerable children and remove dangerous individuals from our communities.”
