Chatham Drug Sting: Two Charged Over Heroin and Crack Supply

Police swooped on a suspected drug deal in Chatham, charging two locals with heroin and crack cocaine offences.

Caught in the Act

On September 21, at around 1.40pm, officers on routine patrol spotted what looked like a drug transaction in an alley near Constitution Road.

Quick follow-up enquiries led to the arrest of Donna Bartlett, 36, and Matthew Bray, 42, both from Constitution Road.

Serious Charges Laid

  • Donna Bartlett faces charges of conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine, plus counts of possession with intent to supply.
  • Matthew Bray is charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Next Stop: Crown Court

The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on September 23. They have been remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court, where their case will continue.
