The Lewes court heard how the cleaner used social media to hunt victims. Chambers tried to lure one girl to his home, exposed himself to five others, and sent shocking images and videos. He also pressured his victims to undress and pose for photos.
Arrest and Conviction
- Arrested on January 26, 2018, Chambers was bailed under strict conditions.
- Police found explicit messages and photos on his devices via Facebook Messenger.
- He pled guilty to sexual communications with children and inciting sexual activity with a child.
- He received a suspended two-year prison sentence at Lewes Crown Court on December 5.
Strict Penalties and Lifetime Restrictions
Beyond the SHPO, Chambers faces tough internet bans, mandatory notifications of life changes, and risks jail if he breaks the rules. He must complete 300 hours of unpaid work, attend rehabilitation programs, pay a victim surcharge, and remain on the sex offender register for 10 years.
