Teenager Arrested Over Fatal Northolt Stabbing of Jason Isaacs

Police have detained a 16-year-old boy in connection with the stabbing death of 18-year-old Jason Isaacs in Northolt. The arrest was made at a Harrow address on the morning of Friday, 27 April. The teen is currently held at a south London police station as the probe intensifies.

Investigation Heats Up

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, leading the Homicide and Major Crime Command, revealed the latest arrest signals steady progress. He said: “The investigation into Jason’s murder remains ongoing and this latest arrest shows we are making progress to identify all those responsible for the attack.”

DCI McHugh added a 17-year-old male is already set to stand trial on Monday, 30 April, for Jason’s murder. He warned others involved: “You will be arrested and put before the courts to face the consequences of your actions.”

Brutal Night in Northolt

Jason was killed in a ruthless, premeditated attack at around 10:30pm on Saturday, 18 November 2017. The murder happened at Newnham Close after Jason’s night out with friends. Two mopeds, each with pillion passengers who weren’t wearing helmets, played a key role in the assault—making them hard to miss.

Previous Arrests

  • A 17-year-old male arrested on 30 November has been charged with murder and will face trial at the Old Bailey on 30 April.
