Three Men Charged in Leyton Watch Robbery with Fake Guns
Arrests Made After High-Speed Robbery
Police have charged three men following a terrifying robbery in Leyton. Ahmed Bana, 25, from Hale Gardens, N17, faces charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of an imitation firearm during a schedule 1 offence.
Nurul Amin, 24, of Cavendish Road, N4, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Meanwhile, Dante Campbell, 20, from Denmark Road, N8, faces multiple charges including conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and possessing firearm ammunition without a certificate.
Victim Threatened at Gunpoint
The incident unfolded on Monday, 18 April, at around 9:15pm on High Road, Leyton. Two males approached a man in his 30s, threatened him with what appeared to be a gun, and violently snatched his watch before fleeing the scene.
Next Court Date Set
All three men are set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court 1 on Thursday, June 23. Police continue to investigate the brazen daylight robbery.
