Big Drugs Bust in Nottingham: Three Arrested, Guns and Class A Seized

Nottingham police teams, including Operation Reacher and the Tactical Support Group, smashed down doors in Bulwell, Radford, and Aspley on Thursday 6 July. Their raids uncovered a haul of Class A drugs, weapons, and cash.

Safe Cracked to Reveal Stash of Cocaine and Heroin

At 8am, officers stormed a house on Severn Street, Bulwell, forcing their way inside. They found large amounts of cocaine and heroin hidden inside a safe. A 19-year-old man at the property was hauled in on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

  • Firearm ammunition and a knife were also seized.
  • Multiple mobile phones, drug scales, and paraphernalia were found.

Radford and Aspley Raids Lead to More Arrests

Police executed simultaneous warrants at Grafton Court, Radford, and Eltham Close, Aspley. At Radford, a suspect was caught with a knife and a rucksack stuffed with Class A drugs, scales, and phones. The 23-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent and possession of a knife.

Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man was detained in Aspley on suspicion of drug supply and criminal property offences.

Detective Inspector on Mission to Tackle Organised Crime

“These warrants are a significant result in our ongoing battle against the organised crime gangs which blight communities in our city and county. It is always good news when we can take illegal drugs off the street and destroy them,” said Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas of Nottinghamshire Police.

“We have also arrested three people who remain in custody but our investigation remains ongoing.”
