Tragic Crash in Belbroughton Leaves Woman Dead
West Mercia Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a fatal collision in Belbroughton yesterday afternoon.
Deadly Smash at Quantry Lane and Heath End Road
At around 4:50pm on Sunday, December 7, a white Citroen C3 and a red Honda Jazz collided at the junction of Quantry Lane and Heath End Road.
A woman in her 70s, passenger in one of the cars, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite frantic efforts by emergency crews. Another man suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
29-Year-Old Woman Arrested Over Fatal Crash
Police have arrested a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She also faces charges for serious injury by dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving while disqualified.
