Young Fraudsters Target Elderly Women in Bank Scam
Fraud Charges Laid After Shady Bank Scams
Two young men have been hit with fraud charges following a spate of scams targeting elderly women. Richard Seixas, 23, from East Ham, London, faces three counts of fraud by false representation. Mohamed Koita, 22, from Ilford, has been summonsed for one count.
Incidents Across Essex Towns
- Seixas is charged over incidents on 18 January in Southend, and two on 21 February in Benfleet and Rayleigh.
- Koita’s charge relates to the Southend scam on 18 January.
Court Date Set
Both men are due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on 1 February 2021 to face the charges.
