Two 28-year-old men wanted for sexual offences in Newbury have been arrested in Devizes. The arrests come after a high-profile national manhunt launched by Thames Valley Police on 13 June.

Wiltshire Police led an intelligence-driven operation, deploying dog units and drones to track the pair down. Officers credited valuable tips from the public for helping to crack the case wide open.

“We are grateful for the public’s assistance in locating these individuals,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson. “Advanced technology and community cooperation were key to the successful search.”

Both men are now in police custody. Authorities have promised that further details on charges and upcoming court proceedings will be announced soon.
