Teen Fan Brutally Assaulted After Raith Rovers Derby Clash
A shocking attack has rocked the Fife football scene after an 18-year-old Raith Rovers fan was viciously beaten by a gang in Dunfermline following the tense derby against Dunfermline Athletic.
Horrific Footage Shows Youth Kicked While on Ground
Disturbing video circulating online shows the young supporter lying helplessly as the attackers repeatedly kick him. The victim was rushed to hospital, with police launching an immediate investigation into the violent assault.
Police and Clubs Crack Down on Violence
Police Inspector Neil McGurk slammed the ruthless attack, saying, “This type of behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.” Authorities are working closely with Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic to track down the culprits.
In a twist, reports say the teen’s hearing aids were damaged during the attack. Dunfermline Athletic’s fan group Section North West quickly distanced themselves from the violence, confirming none of their ultras were involved, and apologised to the victim. They even pledged to help replace the broken hearing device.
Clubs Vow Action as Fan Safety Concerns Mount
Raith Rovers promised to support the injured fan and assist police in identifying those responsible. Dunfermline Athletic condemned all violence and vowed to ban anyone caught in the assault from East End Park.
With tensions running high, police are urging witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 immediately.
