A 19-year-old motorcyclist has tragically died after a collision involving a tractor in Sissinghurst. The fatal accident has led to an urgent appeal from police for witnesses and any dashcam footage that may help with the investigation.
The crash occurred just before 12:15 PM on Wednesday, 24 July 2024, on Common Road. The young rider was travelling on a white Honda XL125 motorcycle when he collided with a green John Deere tractor. Emergency services, including local police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded swiftly to the scene. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the location. His next of kin have been informed.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is seeking information from anyone who witnessed the crash or has not yet provided a statement. They are keen to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
