Ant McPartlin Breaks Silence After Birth of Son Wilder

TV star Ant McPartlin has finally spoken out following the joyous arrival of his first child with wife Anne-Marie. Amid the celebration, fans were puzzled by a family tattoo that appeared to leave out their beloved dog, Hurley. Ant has now set the record straight.

Ant Clears Up Tattoo Confusion

Taking to X, Ant thanked fans for their warm messages after announcing the birth of baby Wilder. He explained the tattoo does include Hurley, their family Labrador, but the pup’s name is hidden beneath the image of their newborn. Ant said:

“Hey all, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the kind messages and well wishes for our baby Wilder. He’s doing great. Glad you loved the tattoo as well. For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree… he was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks. A.”

He also shared a photo showing the full tattoo on his shoulder, clearly revealing Hurley’s name intricately woven into the design.

Custody Battle Over Hurley Heats Up

Ant’s clarification comes amid reports of a bitter custody dispute over Hurley between him and his ex-wife Lisa. The couple, who divorced in 2018, currently share custody of the Labrador, but Lisa reportedly wants full ownership of the dog now that Ant has a new family. Sources say Lisa sees Hurley as more than a pet – a vital source of comfort.

Custody arrangements were designed to keep Ant and Lisa apart, but tensions over the four-legged family member are now rising.

Ant’s New Chapter: Fatherhood and Family

Fans and friends have flooded Ant with congratulations on becoming a father, marking a major milestone in his life. Ant previously spoke openly about his hopes to have children, and the arrival of Wilder Patrick McPartlin has brought him deep happiness.

Ant described baby Wilder as “beautiful” and Anne-Marie as “a legend,” admitting he was emotionally overwhelmed but over the moon. The couple is now embracing parenthood, buoyed by a wave of public support and love.
