Armed officers from Surrey and Sussex Police rushed to an address in Crawley on Sunday evening after two people were reportedly stabbed. The attack took place on Springfield Road, Southgate Park, before the suspect fled on foot.
The National Police Air Service dispatched a helicopter to assist ground officers in their search for the assailant. Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called to the scene to treat the stabbing victims.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment as the investigation continues. The situation remains ongoing, with officers working hard to track down the attacker.
