Two Teenagers Arrested in Shocking Petts Wood Murder of Max Wheatley
Detectives have made a major breakthrough in the tragic murder of Max Moy Wheatley in Petts Wood. Two teenagers, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on Friday, 29 September, on suspicion of murder. Both remain in custody at a south London police station.

Stabbing in Jubilee Country Park Ends in Tragedy
The investigation began after the London Ambulance Service called police around 2:30pm on 20 September. Max was found stabbed in Jubilee Country Park near Tent Peg Lane, Petts Wood. Despite rapid response from officers and the Kent Air Ambulance, Max, from Orpington, died at the scene.
A post-mortem on 22 September confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
