The driver eventually pulled over in an emergency bay and claimed that ‘the driver had run off.’ However, CCTV footage showed a very different story, contradicting his statement.
Faced with the evidence, the driver quickly admitted the truth. The confession came with serious consequences, as he was found to be driving without a licence and without insurance. It was certainly not a good day behind the wheel for the individual involved.
