At 11:21am on 14 August, a 73-year-old man trying to board a train to Blackpool was violently attacked after his suitcase accidentally bumped into a woman on the train.
The woman’s male companion suddenly launched a furious assault, punching the elderly victim in the face. The victim fell to the floor, suffering a broken nose in the brutal attack.
The assailant jumped off the train at Preston station and is currently being sought by police.
