Tragic Death of 13-Year-Old in Dover Roundabout Crash
A 13-year-old girl has died after being struck by a car at a busy Dover roundabout. Locals have named her as Mya Lawrence, a pupil at Dover Christ Church Academy.
Fatal Collision at Whitfield Hill Roundabout
Kent Police say a blue Vauxhall Astra hit the teenager while she was crossing the A256 carriageway. The crash happened around 7.40pm on Friday as the car exited Whitfield Hill roundabout.
Mya was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have informed her next of kin.
Driver Stays, Police Seek Witnesses
The driver stayed at the scene and was present when officers arrived. Thankfully, they suffered no injuries.
