Police have arrested four local teens over the vicious assault. Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old from Oxford remain in custody. All face charges of attempted murder.

“We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident,” said Superintendent Bruce Riddell, Oxford’s Local Policing Area Commander. “We have now made four arrests.”

“We believe the victim and offenders knew each other. At this time, no one else is being sought.”

“This is a troubling case involving young people and serious violence. Keeping kids away from such violence is a top priority.”
