A deadly fire tore through a second-floor flat in a Herne Hill tower block overnight, claiming one life. Emergency services rushed to Herne Hill House on Railton Road around 12:15am on Sunday, March 17, after fire reports flooded in.

Firefighters Battle Blaze, One Found Dead

Fire crews fought the flames while police cordoned off the scene. Tragically, a victim was found inside the flat, confirmed deceased. The Metropolitan Police have not revealed their identity, awaiting next of kin notification.
