On Tuesday 15 November, a hit-and-run incident on Station Road near Hall Lane left a teenage boy injured. The boy was struck by a black Ford Fiesta that sped off without stopping at around 8.33am.

The local teenager was rushed to hospital with leg injuries. Thankfully, he has since been discharged and is recovering at home.

Staffordshire Police are actively hunting for the driver involved in the collision. They have released CCTV footage and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the black Fiesta earlier, or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.

Authorities are asking the community to do their part to help catch this hit-and-run driver before they strike again.
