I want to reassure residents no such incidents have been reported to us recently. We are, however, investigating four other suspicious incidents from Friday and have boosted patrols to keep the area safe. If anyone is worried or has information, please speak to an officer. We also welcome CCTV or dash-cam footage to assist our inquiries.”

On Ferndale Road, up to four men and a woman were reported knocking on doors asking for money around 9.15pm on 10 February. Additional reports noted a woman knocking on doors in Langdale Road. At Ipswich Circus, a gate was kicked open, causing alarm among local residents.
