Police Hunt Man Over Assault on Teen Girls on Blantyre Bus
Police in Scotland are on the lookout for a man linked to an assault on three teenage girls aboard a bus heading from Blantyre to East Kilbride. The attack happened between 7.10pm and 7.30pm on Sunday, 22 October 2023, somewhere between High Blantyre and Calderwood Expressway.
Who’s the Suspect?
Officers want to speak to a man who boarded the bus around that time. He’s described as:
- About 45 years old
- White, around 5ft 10ins tall
- Sporting a long dark beard
- Speaking with a local accent
- Wearing a long, dark knee-length jacket
- In black skinny jeans or jogging bottoms and dark boots
- Dishevelled appearance with bad teeth
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“We are continuing our investigation and need anyone who saw this man on or leaving the bus to get in touch,” said Chief Inspector Graeme McLaughlin.
