Man in 20s Seriously Hurt After BMW Crashes Into Tree on A50
A man suffered life-threatening injuries after his BMW smashed into a tree on the A50 near Uttoxeter. Police were called at 6.50pm to the junction with the A552 following reports of the crash.
Driver Fighting for Life in Hospital
The driver, a man in his 20s, sustained severe spinal, liver, and kidney injuries. He was rushed to Royal Stoke Hospital where he remains in a stable but critical condition.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Collision Investigation Officer Matthew Lovatt urged anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward. “Please get in touch as our inquiries continue,” he said.
