Violent Morning Assault at Warwickshire Car Boot Sale
Warwickshire Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal attack near the car boot sale on Haunch Lane this Sunday morning, May 12, 2024. Just before 8.45am, a 42-year-old man was punched to the head, sustaining a serious head injury.
Victim Hospitalised
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and took the injured man to a local hospital. His condition remains serious. Authorities describe the attack as “nasty” and are treating the case with urgency.
Police Seek Three Suspects
Detective Sergeant Michael Brennen, leading the investigation, said no arrests have been made yet. Police believe three men were involved and are working hard to track them down.
“The victim’s injuries are severe. We need anyone who saw the incident to come forward,” said DS Brennen.

The morning car boot sale attracted a big crowd, so police are confident there are witnesses. Anyone who saw the attack or has dash cam footage showing the suspects leaving the scene is urged to contact the police immediately.
